jakarta, the decrease in sperm quality issue has become an international problem. recent research shows that the concentration of sperm a man present much lower sperm concentration compared to his ancestors.have previously conducted research which showed that the number of french people have been having sperm decreased significantly for several decades. recent studies conducted in spain even suggest that sperm quality in men has declined up to spain's young 38 percent in a period of a decade.researchers from the department of preventative medicine and public health, university of murcia, have been monitoring the concentration of sperm from men aged between 215 18 to 23 years for a decade. the researchers calculated the concentration of sperm back on average has been reduced from 72 million sperm/ml in 2001 to 52 million/ml in 2011.of such research may note that the decline in sperm concentration occurred an average of two percent per year. sperm concentration is less than 40 million/ml note can decrease fertility and difficulty fertilise the egg."if the rate of decrease in the concentration of sperm are constantly going on and reduced to two percent per year, the young man's sperm could reach 40 million/ml level which could be harmful to her fertility," said professor jaime mendiola, one of the researchers.torres alberto cantero, the principal researcher in the study believe that the tendency is related to an increasingly unhealthy diet coupled with high levels of stress."precautionary measures involving some improvements in lifestyle, such as a healthy diet, can improve sperm quality," said professor cantero, as reported by naturalnews, tuesday (5/2/2013).the youth of today are more often exposed to electromagnetic radiation, was fond of wearing tight clothes and are also exposed to chemicals that can cause a decrease in sperm count. improvement of nutrition and lifestyle that are always active can help reverse the bad effects and improve fertility rates.(vit/vta )
